Jerry Connor’s passion for the automotive industry began in May of 1998, when he started working as a sales professional at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership. As a US Army Veteran, he had the discipline and dedication to succeed in sales and earned a promotion to finance in a matter of months. His career took a new turn when the dealership was acquired by a large auto group later that year. Jerry decided to stay with the new company and took on various roles, such as used car manager and finance director, for several years.
In 2007, Jerry moved to Michigan to help establish and manage the finance department of a Buick GMC dealership. He demonstrated his skills and expertise in setting up and running a profitable finance operation. A year later, he was headhunted by a Ford dealership in west Michigan that needed his assistance in revamping their finance department. Jerry accepted the challenge and worked hard to build strong relationships with lenders and deliver outstanding results for his customers and the dealership.
In 2018, Jerry received an offer to become the General Sales Manager (GSM) at a Chevrolet dealership in South Haven. He embraced this opportunity to lead and mentor a team of sales professionals and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. He performed exceptionally well in this role for a year before joining Elite FI Partners in 2019 as a product specialist. Jerry’s extensive experience in both product and training makes him a valuable member of the Elite FI team.
